MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

Wow these few days have been a whirlwind of time.
The 6U gathering, Christmas Eve's party at June's, Church Christmas Service, shopping for prezzies, deciding what to give who, and etc, etc, etc.

I have been having so much fun I'm too exhilarated to elaborate.
All I can say is... ....... okay, someone should invent a word which means " Wish you were there I'm having so much fun and I'm still busy having fun so have fun being jealous I'm busy. BYE."
Okay for now maybe we'll just use the word AWESOME!
This Christmas has been uber-awesome.

And I'm gonna stay up late tonight and when the clock strikes twelve I'm gonna tear open my presents. Because I'm not allowed to until tomorrow, which is Boxing Day, and midnight is considered tomorrow, everyone knows that.

Have fun this Christmas! Will post what I got for Christmas and from who tomorrrow if I have time.

A Declaration

This post will begin with A Declaration and end with What an Unlucky Evening.

A Declaration

I, Celine Choong officially declare that my pencil box is lost.

Yes, lost. Lost. Vanished without leaving the slightest trace. Gone. Just like that. Poof. In fact I have constructed a new pencil box which looks like a giant pencil entirely out of Lego bricks. Yes its true. Maybe I would bring that one to school next year BUT it will probably be labeled as childish (I can already imagine Lydia rolling her eyes and saying- "that's SO Celine') ang get confisticated at day one. So, maybe not.

What an Unlucky Evening

Okay today while I was out makaning with my family and after we had finished we proceeded to the carpark accross the road. Then my slipper/flip flop fell out. Okay not exactly fell out but the strap unconnected. Came undone. And I had to drag my foot with slipper at the bottom towards the car, and it was so hard, and I probably look so stupid or too lazy to walk properly or something. In the end I gave up and walked bareffot along the filthy tar road.

I am absolutely exhausted.
For two main reasons, which are as follows:
a. I watched Project Runway until 1am this morning.
b. The JBWMC Christmas youth party today.
Okay, this morning I woke up at 918. I brushed my teeth. I changed my clothes. I ate breakfast. I began a useless search for my pencil box, which has been missing since last week (and stuffed to the brim with my most treasured stationery). I went for my piano lesson. I came home. I changed into my ‘The Best Gift’ Christmas party 2009 tee and white pants and pantyhose. I ate lunch. I went to church.

Then, 2 o’ clock came. I saw Rachel. Rachel and her recently rebonded hair. She looks better, I must admit. The party started in the old sanctuary, decorated with fairy lights and balloons and the usual Christmas decorations and festival ribbon on the fans and a lot of things and also red lights. Then we play play play (okay actually they played I mostly watched because I was busy on the phone with a late Alyssa calling me and when they came they wouldn't BUDGE from the door. Man did they come to the party as guests or as door guards?) But if I was a latecomer and they were already in the middle of some game I would pretty much do the same so I guess I understand.

Then we switched games to Whacko (a game I now know Looi hates).
Then came worship time.
Then another game.
Then me and Jane's one-minute-ballet performance. (I am SO NOT elaborating)
Then the funny-cool-witty modern play. (Those who've seen it, I'm sure you'll agree)

Then pastor preached a bit, and we all ate abit, and it was time to go home=)

What a life

I am not doing any work, other than SMSing people, checking my email through my iPod, reading books, walking in malls, lounging around the sofa watching tv, playing video games, etc.

What a life! It might be short lived, that is, but it totally pwnds doin homework and stuff.

I am going to enjoy more of my short lived relaxful life. ciao.

BORING~

Today is a fairly boring day.
I have called Lydia umpteen times and have nothing left to talk with her,
cannot think of a good plot for my new story so there's no point of writing,
cannot play Sims 3 because of some stupid malfunction,
have no new books to read and can't go to CS to get new ones,
can't call Looi to talk because she is out watching some basketball match till like, six in the evening,
and to make things worse I have a piano class tonight.

Oh bother.

What a boring, boring, day.

Exams are like, FINALLY OVER!!!

I am so happy. In fact, that is a pathetic understatement. OVERJOYED is more like it! Or EXCITED, or EXHILARATED, or even HIGH!

Right now I feel like jumping and screaming and jumping and reaching for the sky, floating on a cloud that is so so high. For the obvious reasons, of course.

For those of you who don't already know:-
- Exams are finally over, like I stated above, but I feel I need to empahasize on it because... EXAMS ARE FINALLY OVER! OVER AND OUT! How many weeks of studying, and no computer, and stress, and worry, and all the shit you do when exams are near, are finally over. All over on Friday the 13th of November. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, I can fially relax. Now THIS is the life.

Today is Friday the 13th. Which brings us to the next reason of Why I'm So Freakin' Happy.

- I was born, tomorrow, (YES, TOMORROW) exactly 13 years ago. For those of you smart people, you would probably know what I'm trying to say, but to those who don't, read CAREFULLY, between the lines. (although I doubt that there's anything between them, though.)

There is a downfall, though. Ironically, I have to go to school to COOK tomorrow. Yes. On my birthday. Its not that I detest cooking, ( I actually like cooking okay) its just that, isn't it weird to be cooking on your birthday? And Looi says, I'd probably set the pan on fire or something. (I won't, trust me.)

Children's Day! (16-9-09 Friday)

We don't celebrate Children's Day in Secondary so you might be wondering why I wrote that title.

But today was, indeed, children's day at FY2 so... being the primary schooldays lover as I am, of coourse I had to go back to Foon Yew 2 for Children's Day. Tons of people went but many were kicked out. Most of us 6U-ians got to go in, though. We visited teachers in their respective classes, and they gave us things to eat. Paiseh paiseh. Get offered drinks and makanan in by teachers in front of small small kids. Here are a few pics..This was taken in 6U class. For those of you who don't know how to read chinese, it means: Happy Children's Day!Me & Rachel, both wearing our FY2 rumah Sukan PJ shirts. And yes, we still can fit into them. The blur thing blurring my face was someone trying to 'peace' but was either too early or too late.

This is the official 6U timetable for mini tests ectetra. For those of you who can read chinese, then you'll know how life was like last time for me and my fellow classmates. And for those who don't, too bad, then. (FYI this is the test timetable for every day of every week excluding other subjects like BM and English)

Then we went makan and Chamelon(dunnoe how its spelled LOL) to buy stuffs and also to Popular for necessities and inner city for window shopping and of al people I saw Kaye Linn there. I was:

Singapore Zoo and More

Today we (namely, me and my family) woke up extra early so we could go to Singapore Zoo at Freakin' 8 in the morning. Actually we didn't reach there until like nine, but I still had to wake up early.

We walked walked walked walked all over, visiting various exhibits of many animals including the big rednosed Probocsis Monkey, Otters, Gibbons, Chimps, Orang Utans, Wild African Animals, Lots of types of squirrels, Reptiles in Reptile Garden, Looi's cousins (Kangaroos, haha) various birds,Smelly warthogs, maned wolfs, White Tigers, Pygmy Hippos a,d the likes. By 1230 everyone's legs were screaming in protest. Except Clarence, of course, who was comfortably nestled in his stroller which dad and mum took turns to push.

Every few stops, Clarence would go " VERY SMELLY!!! GO GO GO!" and we'd have to hastily take pictures before departing that particular exhibit. And if that place wasn't smelly Clarence MY SCAREDY PIG LITTLE BROTHER will be like SO scared of those animals and his heart beat will go like, 100% faster. How cute. We also saw two shows, the Rainforest Fights Back and the Splash Safari.

Then, we went Ochard road, shopping. I bought Mr Men and Little Miss Keychain at 711 and also tamagotchis Version 5 at $10 each. You might think I'm childish but frankly I DON'T CARE. They were too cheap.

That Concludes today's glorious day.I skipped everything today, Church, Ballet and Tuiton. Yep, Shiok. I know.

Because I certainly wasn't, and I have witnesses. Like- Looi and Jia, I was at Looi's house yesterday and on short leave from SJS Entertaintment broadcasting.

Woke up early and went to school

We were supposed to be covering Pelangi Area.

So we did.

It was pretty quick cos it was still early morning and frankly no one was about.

So we covered the area.

Some people very genorous la every day got people from other schools go cover Pelangi Area then everyday they also donate.

Then we went to Pelangi Plaza.

We just stood outside the Shopping Mall and wait for people to come donate.

Mostly is people that comes to work

they were rushing for time and didn't donate much

especially the Elle people

they hardly even stop to look at us

Wow they must have a really strict boss

okay I'm being lame here

why do I care about their BOSS?

Nevermind.

Overall it was quite fun

We even had Mcdonalds after that ( YUM YUM)

Me and Wong were learning japanese with her guidebook of Japan

Then we saw a japanese guy

Ahem. Duty was supposedly to start at 730 am. Then???
We were late one hour. Our squad-

were supposed to cover the Tun Aminah area.
So we went to 国光一小to collect donations.
Wow. Can you believe that they are SO genourous.
They donated A LOT, you know?
I mean, I don't think they even have money left for their lunches and/or piggy banks.
Our two tins were full ( I like... dunnoe mention this how many times edi... you must be thinking, this celine damn perasan you know!!!) And I don't really think a lot of squad fulled their tins on first day. Ah-hem.
Actually lah... if we didn't have L.C Heng and Private Sarah's help, i tell you i'd bet we'd not even get half a tin full.
Okay, maybe one tin.

Woke up, ate, went to school.

Today's Squad-

Chok Man Ming (she so poor thing you know!! the only sesated form 2 in our 3 going to tampoi squads),

So 3 squads ( us, Christelle's group, and some upper seniors) out of 17 squads
went to tampoi area.
We did manage to collect a bit
But hello it was morning la wheyyy
Ppl still asleep...
And some shoplot places don't let us go into their shops...
Sad...
Then we go kipmart.
As I said it was MORNING and the place was dead.
No amount of CPR would help.

So, Christelle called some senior.
Then we went Angsana and makan. ( Actually supposed to collect donation too, but we just makaned )
because... We went CS!!! damn Shiok man!
We were not allowed to go in.
But who cares.
We saw a lot of other school punya ppl there you know.
I saw... Jack!!! (both, the girl and also the boy)
I saw Jack man!
I don't dare to wave cos got senior beside me.
He either is blind or suffered fom recent memory loss or maybe my looks change until too different edi because either way,
I was standing RIGHT THERE and he didn't say hello.
DIDN'T even WAVE!!!
HELLO!!!

Damned depressed for a little while after that. ( WHEY, DON"T GET THE WRONG IDEA HOR!)
Then, start collecting donations.
There was this lady over there that I feel very sorry for because she is also meminta-ing sedekah. And she seriously needs the money. I was very sad.
I was there with... My squad leader I think. Then after that, another senior came.
Then they left me there.
Actually it was okay lah...
But for a very long time loh.
So damn lonely you know.
Then after that the 3 of the cadet team people came.
I so damn paiseh.
Wah ask ask ask sometimes they also never donate de. Most say 'Donate already!' and some like just smile and walk away. Some don't even bother to make eye contact.
STINGY.
My tin wasn't even as heavy as yesterday... TT
But nevermind yesterday we four ppl leh. Today I one person one.

Omgosh I am posting this from my iPod!!! How extremely cool is that??? Anyway, today is a holiday and my dad wanted to bring us watch transformers, but I think that tickets are sold out everywhere. How sad!!! Aly went to watch the Malaysian open finals yesterday, and as expected, LCW won. And after the match he wiped his sweat and threw the towel to the audience. Like UGH!!!

Anyway I think that's all for now. I wanna go download LadyGaga's Lovegame for taptaprevenge2. BYE!

School

The holidays are over…
In a way, I’m all too glad to be back to the busy atmosphere in school. But school is not just laugh and play, there is also tons of homework, homework and MORE HOMEWORK. Like ARGH!!! Help me help me I’m being squashed by this huge mountain! HELP!!!

The days are swarming by, and a week has already passed since school reopened. What with

Drawing endless circles with our protractors,
Meeting urgent deadlines (like having to do 3 babs of KH notes and latihan in 3 days)
Singing PPG and Bob The Builder and all that jazz with Aly, (lame!!! I know)
Doing folio,
Sitting single file in St Helen drawing the beeeeeeautiful padang scenery,
Getting into catfights,
Snatching back my white scrunchie (now BLACK thanks to Lydia),
Doing homework,
Eating muck in the canteen,
‘body gloving’ people,
Etc etc etc

My life has finally returned to ‘normal’.

Hey!!!

Meet me, a typical, teenage girl.
Interests- reading, writing, bookhogging, chatting, shopping, listening to music, watching TV, blogging, msn-ing, watching movies, hanging out, texting...
Yes, needless to say, all the things that teenage girls do.
Although some of my peers may disagree, because not all people are into bookhogging.
Lol. :D

Last week I went to teenstreet (a camp for christian teens, if you don't already know) and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Believe it or not, I already miss it. It is a very good way to meet new friends. Very good indeed.

Talk about bookhogging, I don't really know (or care) what it means. But I think it means buying a lot of books at one go? Yea, I think so. I did that just wednesday, though not so oftenly. I think another definition for bookhogging is to tackle many books at one go. (I mean extreme reading)Or to consume books at an alarming speed. ( As if anyone would do that).
